Fusion Haven

Although I have come here three times, the food quality remains the same. Fusion Haven is a cafe that served mostly foods from different country.

This is the entrance of Fusion Haven. Located at Sri Petaling, this place is not hard to find at all.
The design of the cafe is not that stylish but this place is cosy enough to be in it.

We were greeted with Japanese Style when we enter this cafe.

Drinks
Even after three times coming here, I still order the same drinks.

Mango and strawberry are my favourite drinks.

I always believe, to make a perfect drinks is the combination of ingredient used for the drinks.

Mango + Strawberry

- This drink is rich with Mango taste plus some of the Strawberry fruits below it.

Cucumber + Lime.

- No comment on this drink. I did not taste it.

Appetizer

Fusion Mango Salad

- The above picture is how it look like when it was served to us.

- Below it is how after they break it open.

- The content of the food is rich with Salad, served with Mango and some peanuts in it and something like biscuit around it.

Main Course

Terayaki Squid
- This food is not always on the menu. It depends on the season whether got fresh squid.
- This food is served with.... Squid... and there's rice in it, which make it special, and is served with special Terayaki sauce.

Tomato Paste Seafood Risotto

- The rice is cooked with Tomato, giving a strong taste of Tomato.

- This dish may look simple but the taste is priceless.

Dessert

Warm Heart Chocolate and Ice-cream

- So far, this is the best chocolate dessert I have tasted.

- In it, it is fill with thick melted chocolate if i'm not mistaken.

- This is a must try food when you dine at Fusion Haven.

Overall, I will give high rating for the food and environment. Is not so noisy and the service is excellent. The price is reasonable as well.

Foods in Malacca

I know is been almost 1 week since I went Malacca but I was too busy to update this blog. I have decided to blog about food first and promise to talk more about my trip later.

Anyway, on the first day in Malacca, we went to Jonker Street to have our dinner. We stop by at this makan shop, which is supposingly to be famous for chicken rice ball.

I hope this picture is clear and big enough to view.

The rice looks like fishball, and is very sticky. We have trouble finishing the dishes as well although from the pictures above it look like just nice for 7 people. Actually the food is not very good and also the dishes especially the chicken, are served COLD!

Anyway the ratings are as below:-
Drinks : 7/10
Food : 3/10
Price : 6/10

On the second day, we went to Jonker Street again to have our lunch. We stop by at one shop which is full of people queuing all the way outside the shop under the hot sun. This shop is famous for its "cendol Melaka" and it's Laksa if I'm not mistaken.

Yup! After waiting in the queue we finally manage to find a place to accommodate 7 of us and reward ourselves with Cendol Melaka. Sorry did not manage to snap the picture of the Laksa to show you all.

Little Genting in Cheras

After driving more than 1 hour, we finally found this place, which is also known as ' Little Genting' in Cheras. This is the scenery from the restaurants over there.

Basically, this place is more like hanging out for youngsters or couples.

Well, basically the view there is much better compare to the picture.

After finding a place to park, we went to one of the restaurant there. I don't really know the name of the restaurant, but is something like lookout point restaurant. Also, the menus look very old. Some of the pages have been torn out. Mine do not have the poultry and the dessert part.

Drinks

- Most of the drinks are very diluted.

- The fruit juice does not have its original taste.
Choco Strawberry (This is the worst drink ever, combination of Chocolate and Strawberry)

Watermelon (yup, 3 bottles of Maggi = 1 cup of watermelon)

Starter
- Basically, we just order mushroom soup.
- The taste of the mushroom soup is more like pizza hut mushroom soup.

Mushroom soup (the surrounding is bread and the middle is mushroom soup)

The chef who served us (he told me my lamb is virgin)

Main Course
- Sizzling meals are the best so far. I think it is because of the gravy.
- The lambs are almost well done, therefore it is abit tough to cut.
- As we were trying hard to finish our food, we purposely share out our portion to everyone, pretending that ours is the best :P

Special Combo Chicken (Comes with Prawns and Fish together with French Fries and Veges)

Sizzling lamb chop (Comes with mash potatoes and vegetables)
Ham and cheese sandwich (comes with French Fries)

Special lamb chop with cheese and ham (according to the chef this is a virgin lamb = =")
Mushroom lamb chop (with mushroom gravy)
Sizzling chicken chop (same as lamb except this is chicken)

And finally desserts
- I don't know why they love putting alot of cream in our meals.

- The banana split and the lollipops basically full of cream on top of it. (this causes our table to be very messy)

Chocolate Chips (i think this is the best choice so far)

Banana Split (the toppings mostly cream)

Lollipops (Also mostly cream on top of it. Comes with fresh fruits in it)

Overall, the ratings are as below:-

Starters : 6 / 10
Main Course : 7 / 10
Desserts : 6 / 10

Price : 6 / 10

My recommendation on this place if you ever come here is that, only order any sizzling food especially chicken as that is the safest food there. Also, do not try any attractive or funky names for the drinks. Trust me, I have tasted it.
